About the Role

<p>The Business Development Executive (BDE) drives new customer acquisition by generating opportunities, converting inbound leads, and building a high-quality pipeline across two solution areas. This role suits an ambitious sales professional looking to develop specialist expertise and progress into a Technology Consultant role.</p>

  • Execute daily outbound prospecting through calls, email sequencing, LinkedIn, and HubSpot automation.
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture new customer opportunities within assigned solution areas.
  • Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  • Book high quality discovery meetings for Solution SMEs and Technology Consultants.
  • Build a strong understanding of the two assigned Simoda Solution Areas.
  • Stay educated on market trends, competitor positioning, and customer challenges.
  • Deliver clear, compelling value propositions to targeted prospects.
  • ● Work closely with Solution SMEs for training and product knowledge development.
  • Align with Marketing on inbound lead progression and campaign feedback.
  • Collaborate with Technology Consultants to ensure smooth handover of new customers.
  • Manage all activity and pipeline stages within HubSpot.
  • Use ZoomInfo and other tools to build targeted prospect lists and outreach programmes.
  • Provide accurate weekly reporting on activity levels and opportunity progression.
  • Achieve and exceed KPIs for meetings, pipeline creation, and outbound activity.
  • Earn commission on firstdeal revenue from new customers sourced by the BDE.
  • Continually refine outreach approaches to increase conversion rates. 

Promotion is available into a more senior role after the apprenticeship.

About the Training

You will be given a mixture of sales & technical training across your first 12 months in the role - (IT Technical Sales Apprenticeship Level 3) which is a professional qualification in sales.
