About the Role
An exciting Apprentice opportunity has arisen to work with our Repairs Policy and Improvement Team as Investment Assistant studying at Level 2 The team carry out a varied role centred around the delivery of revenue and capital programmes of work to properties across the city.
- Maintain comprehensive financial and asset records
- Assist with the management of defined budgets
- Raise orders in OEO and OHMS and ensure invoices are processed within set timescales
- Assist in the contract administration and coordination of investment work
- Provide administrative support and ensure effective and appropriate administrative systems are in place to support the work of units within the Investment Service
- Recording and collating statistical and other information, producing returns and monitoring reports
- Assist with the management of IT systems including data inputting, manipulation and retrieval of data
- Assist in the production of reports, specification’s, estimates, drawings and other information as required
- The collection, quality checking and collation of information from a variety of sources
- Liaise effectively at all levels with other SCC sections, contractors and other agencies
- Provide and collect information to and from service users both in writing, over the telephone, and in person
- Taking any necessary action to follow up
- Opportunity to move into a full time position upon completion of apprenticeship
About the Training
- You will be working towards a level 2 Housing and Property Management Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- Training will be once a week
- Training centre is located at CDC Centre, cricket inn road, Sheffield, S2 1TR
