About the Role
To assist in the financial accounting & control of the UK business units, supporting the needs of General Ledger but also reaching out to the other functions in finance to develop an ‘all round’ understanding of the processes.
The main responsibilities include:
- Manage all Cash books, payments and receipts in timely manner
- Ensuring full bank and cash reconciliations are completed
- Assist in VAT preparations, alongside other tax computations
- General Ledger postings, journals and reconciliations
- Liaison with Business Unit teams to ensure accurate ledgers and postings
- Auditor and other external party liaison
- Other general ledger duties and transactions
- Form part of wider finance function, understanding end2end processes
