About the Role

We are seeking to recruit a new pharmacy apprentice to our innovative team of qualified professionals.  We are looking for a passionate individual, motivated, reliable and keen to learn and develop within the pharmacy.  We pride ourselves on providing high levels of customer service, so a positive outlook and can do attitude are required.

  • Dispensing of medication to patients
  • Over counter sales of non-prescription medication
  • Check and monitor prescription slips
  • Health & Safety Responsibility
  • Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines
  • Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card
  • Data Entry relating to medication
  • Labelling and Dispensing
  • Accuracy and Attention to detail
  • Numerate
  • Working within a team environment
  • Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals
  • Upon completion of the level 2 Pharmacy apprenticeship, for the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualifications

  • Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc]
