About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and professional candidate to join our busy six surgery Dental Practice as an Apprentice Dental Nurse. You must be eager to learn new responsibilities within a dental practice so that you can work alongside a team who provide excellent care to all of their patients.
- Preparing surgery before each session
- Preparing materials and assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Taking responsibility for the decontamination of instruments
Reception work:
- Answering telephone queries
- Scheduling appointments
- Preparing bills
- Maintaining clinical records
Training is provided by Sheffield College, however it would be beneficial if the right candidate possessed good communication skills, both written and verbal, is computer literate and is a team player.
- The possibility of a full-time job upon completion
About the Training
Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship standard:
- One day a week will be in college or online learning
- Training is provided by Sheffield College
