As a Production Apprentice, you'll be initially responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- The manufacturing and finishing of various specialised hand tool handles, furniture components and ornamental products
- Use a variety of manual machinery, including lathes, table saw, sanding belts, polishers, linishing machines and hand tools
- Accurately follow job cards and update accordingly, reporting any issues to the Management
- Work to quality and environmental standards required for the components/materials
- Use a variety of manual equipment to complete tasks as required
- Undertake final inspections of finished components
- Package and warehouse finished products ready for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area for colleagues and yourself
- When trained, ensure job timings are met/exceeded

About the Training
Engineering Operative Level 2.
The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at one of their campuses on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful engineer.

Woodware Repetitions is a well-established craft-based business that has been traditionally servicing the needs of tool makers in Sheffield and the United Kingdom for many years. In 2019, the business was taken over by the Mowbray Manufacturing Co Ltd and continues to trade from the original premises in Mowbray Street, Sheffield.
The business specialises in the manufacture of hand tool handles, including turning tool handles, file handles, chisel handles and knife handles.
