About the Role

<p>The Workshop Technician will report to the Workshop Controller and will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of Cura Terrae Waters&rsquo; stock, assets and builds at the Sheffield office.</p>

The Workshop Technician will be responsible for:

  • Preparation, servicing and calibration of Cura Terrae Waters’ flow, water quality and rain gauge monitoring equipment and completing relevant documentation associated with this
  • Management of the company’s fleet of monitoring instrumentation, including keeping the asset management database and calibration records up to date
  • Carry out panel builds including wiring and mounting according to engineering drawings
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Tests on panels built within the Workshop
  • The allocation, issue, and tracking of equipment for site deployment
  • Management and control of the company’s goods in/out tracking system
  • Service stock management, issue, and replenishment, including involvement in stock taking and audits
  • Ensuring that the Cura Terrae Waters’ workshop and storage areas are kept clean and tidy and adhere to all relevant HSEQ standards
  • Assisting with continual improvement of workshop processes and procedures

Potential progression to more supervisory role depending on future work.

  • Educated in a relevant area to BTEC Level III or equivalent
  • Organisational skills with a demonstrable ability to successfully manage a varied workload
  • High attention to detail and recognition of the importance of quality in work
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills and aptitude to learn new software
  • Significant experience with IT based management systems
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good Health and Safety knowledge in theory and practice
  •  A willingness to own issues and achieve timely resolutions
  • A flexible attitude and a determination to complete
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Potential progression to more supervisory role depending on future work
