Safety Engineering Products Ltd is looking for a motivated individual to join their friendly, highly skilled team at their Catcliffe site as a Fabrication & Welding Apprentice.</p>
As an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder, you'll be initially responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Carry out fabrication and welding activities including use of a MIG/TIG, and other ancillary machinery and equipment
- Accurately follow job cards and update accordingly
- Ensure correct marking up of component parts
- Work to quality standards required for the components
- Weld joints in accordance with approved welding procedures and quality requirements (TIG, MIG)
- Use a variety of manual equipment to complete the fabrication
- Undertake final inspections of finished components
- Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area for colleagues and yourself
- When trained, ensure job timings are met/exceeded

About the Training
The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at their Rotherham campus on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Engineer.
About the Employer
Safety Engineering Products is a UK. based engineering company with over 20 years of experience in design, manufacture and supply of height safety equipment.
They manufacture Davit arms, Davit bases and abseiling anchor systems, which are tested in-house with 3rd party accredited test houses to extensively to ensure that they meet the latest British Standard regulations for their respective class and they are ISO9001 and EN1090 accredited.
