About the Role
We are one of the UK’s market leaders in the design, manufacture, installation & maintenance of retractable and bleacher seating lecture theatre seating, cinema, theatre seating all over the world. We are a family run business producing everything in house, sourcing materials locally and placing importance on quality and customer satisfaction.
As an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder, you'll be initially responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Carry out fabrication and welding activities including use of a MIG/TIG set, robot welder, various tooling and equipment
- Accurately interpret CAD/technical drawings
- Ensure correct marking up of component parts
- Working to quality standards required for the components
- Welding joints in accordance with approved welding procedures and quality requirements (TIG, MIG)
- Using a variety of modern equipment to shape, form and cut metal and plastic materials
- Undertaking final inspections of finished components
- Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
- Ensure job timings are met/exceeded
You’ll develop your skills with a mentor alongside dedicated Auditoria employees and previous apprentices who are eager to pass on their knowledge. You will learn a variety of duties and support the whole business. You’ll be taught and mentored to achieve your full potential and create the foundation of a career in engineering/manufacturing.

About the Training
The successful candidates will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at their Rotherham campus on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Engineer.
The Apprenticeship Standard you will be studying is Engineering Operative– Fabrication/Welding– Level 2. This will include Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
