About the Role

An opportunity has become available to be able to train to be able to set, operate and program a variety of CNC milling, turning and sliding head machines in a fast-paced, forward thinking and progressive engineering environment.

  • Train to set operate and program CNC machines
  • Perform quality checks using a variety of inspection equipment
  • Learn engineering techniques such as bench fitting, Manual processes and Robotics
  • Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strictly adhere to safe working practices
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
Must be able to commute within 30 minutes on public or personal transport.

Possibility of permanent employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. 

About the Training

As part of your training you will be required to attend Sheffield College once per week.
