About the Role

Apprenticeship spans four years and is structured to provide comprehensive learning and skill development. The first three years involve practical learning at a bus depot, working alongside skilled technicians. Alongside practical learning, you will also attend a specialised training college.

The Body Coach Builder Apprenticeship course is brilliantly varied and will give you a comprehensive understanding of the role and key responsibilities including:

  • Health and Safety
  • Tools & equipment
  • Welding, glazing and painting
  • Removing and refitting body panels
  • Repairing damage to body panels
  • Interior repairs, including rectifying damage to seats and flooring
  • Vehicle preparation and masking for painting
