About the Role

<p>Sunshine Pre-School are looking for a Nursery Assistant Apprentice, you will be studying toward your Early Years Practitioner Level 2.</p>

You will be joining a nursery where the team are supportive, happy, and enthusiastic about creating amazing experiences for their children.

Day-Day Responsibilities:

To assist team members in providing the highest standard of care and education for the children in daily operation of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.

Duties will include:

  • To liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements.
  • To maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
  • To adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures
  • To contribute ideas to planning ensuring children receive high quality of learning and development.               
  • To always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements.
  • Looking after children's day to day physical needs, such as feeding, nappy changing, toilet training and providing a range of fun and stimulating activities from reading stories to messy play.

There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.

About the Employer

Sunshine pre school is open all year round and fully inclusive taking children from the age of 3 months. We offer places for children in receipt of 15 hours funding aswell as 30 hours for working parents (funding is now available from 9 months old). We also offer wrap around care for children attending our setting and also Woodthorpe Community Primary School, aswell as holiday clubs to all.
