About the Role
You will care for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. You will safeguard all children and create a safe, fun and caring environment for the children to learn and play in. Use planning to organise ,carry out and supervise educational, play and creative activities.
- Liase with parents/carers in a sympathetic and understanding manner, creating a good partnership
- Undertake the above duties ensuring the confidentiality of staff, carers and the children in the Nursery
- Promote equal opportunities and non-discriminatory practice within the Nursery
- Comply with all health and safety policies and legislation in the performance of their duties and responsibilities

About the Training
An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected
to work towards the Early Years Practitoner Level 2, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group.
About the Employer
The business is a privately owned Nursery, we cater for children 0-5 years, the owners are often in the Nursery and have owned it for 30 years. They look after the Nursery, its staff and children.
