About the Role
Join Hothouse Beauty as an Apprentice Social Media Content Producer, creating TikTok and Instagram content for brands like St. Moriz and Crazy Kids. Film, edit and publish scroll-stopping content while studying a Level 3 Content Creator qualification. No experience needed, just creativity and passion for social.
- Filming short-form video content on smartphones for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook
- Editing footage, adding transitions, sound and text overlays to create platform-native content
- Brainstorming content ideas with the Brand Managers and wider Marketing team
- Researching trending sounds, formats and creators on TikTok and Instagram
- Updating and maintaining social content calendars around campaigns and product launches
- Writing social copy and captions for posts
- Taking product and lifestyle photography for social channels
- Appearing on camera and helping direct colleagues or creators during content shoots
- Monitoring comments and audience conversations for content inspiration
- Sourcing, briefing and editing content from UGC creators
- Publishing content across social platforms and tracking how it performs
On successful completion of the Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship, there's a clear route to a full-time Social Media Content Producer role within the Hothouse Beauty Marketing team. From there, progression could lead towards a Senior Content Creator or Social Media Executive position, with further opportunities to specialise in areas such as brand strategy, influencer and creator partnerships, or video production. As Hothouse Beauty continues to grow its portfolio of brands, there's scope to take on greater ownership of specific brands and campaigns over time, building a long-term career in content creation and social media marketing.
