About the Role
EN:Able Futures, an award winning apprenticeship employer, have partnered with GRK Civils, and are offering a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice Civil Engineer to learn skills and knowledge required to succeed within the industry.
As an Apprentice you will gain skills and knowledge in:-
- Dimensional control of civil engineering projects
- Assisting design teams with civil engineering solutions
- Supervision of labour and sub-contractors
- Contribute to the control of health and safety
- Record, control and report the progress of a project
- Contribute to the minimisation of the environmental impact
- Control the quality of works
This vacancy will be based in Sheffield, Doncaster, Huddersfield and Birkenshaw, so a driving license with access to a car would be highly advantageous
- Civil and environmental engineers are employed in a variety of industries, including construction, design, specialist consulting, scientific and technical services, transport and all levels of government
About the Training
- The successful candidate will work toward a Level 3 National Diploma in Civil Engineering qualification, at Leeds College of Building.
