You will undertake a structured apprenticeship to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve the Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor standard with o

General Duties

a. Uphold and demonstrate the values and expected staff behaviours of BCUSU in working towards achieving the BCUSU vision

b. Committed to working as part of a team, and in collaboration with the wider BCUSU staff team, to help support the delivery of BCUSU's Strategic Plan

c. Promote the BCUSU equal opportunities policy and support the equity & diversity agenda

d. Follow all University and BCUSU H&S policies and complete all mandatory training

e. Complete any other training and supervision sessions identified as beneficial to the job role or post holder

f. Uphold confidentiality and comply with the Data Protection Act and GDPR

g. Maintain full compliance with BCUSUs administrative and financial systems and procedures

h. Ensuring BCUSU's aspirations to reduce our environmental impact are delivered

i. Make decisions within the defined level of responsibility

j. Effectively communicate with University Staff, Students and relevant external stakeholders

k. Undertake other duties that may be assigned by the employer, as might reasonably be expected within the grade of the post

What your apprenticeship includes

- A mixture of face to face and skype/phone catch ups every 4 - 6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress

- A mixture of on and off the job training, including workshops and webinars

- Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and apprenticeship Trainer

- The chance to get Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSE)

The Eagle & Ball was built in the 1840's and opened to the public as a backstreet public house, sometime in the 1850's. Originally one of the first Ansells pubs in Birmingham, The Eagle & Ball promised the local residents of Birmingham, good ale, good times and an array of musical entertainment.
