About the Role
Provide a comprehensive administrative and management support service for the Skills team.
Responsible for the provision of a comprehensive administrative and management support service for the Skills Team. The Administration function is responsible for team management support activities to ensure that the team are able to deliver effectively.
· Deliver a high standard of administrative support to help the team to meet objectives
· Provide customer service support to internal teams, and with external partners such as PAs within colleges, to ensure that that the reputation of the team is maintained.
· To support the operations of the team including co-ordinating meetings, taking notes of meetings and recording team information.
· To ensure that all work is appropriately filed and recorded so that it can be retrieved and retained n line with policies.
· To undertake some limited diary management support to the Skills senior management team
· To collate and share regular skills related news and coordinate Teams channels and team meeting agendas/bookings.
· Any other duties commensurate with the post as directed by the Head of Contracts and Performance.
Potential for opportunities across Growth, Business and Skills directorate and the wider organisation in support roles (for example Contracts and Performance Officer, Policy Officer, Enquiries Officer)
