About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large engineering company based in Sheffield as their new engineering apprentice. The role will involve loading machines, operating machines and quality checking of products within the manufacturing area.
- Operate robotic welding machines
- Operate press brake machines
- Operate laser cutting machines
- Fabrication of parts and assemblies
- Folding of parts
- Loading and unloading of tooling
- Building of products to meet specifications
- Load and unload materials manually or using hoists/cranes
- Packaging and moving of finished products
- Dimensional inspections and quality control of finished products
- Full time job with the company and opportunity for career progression
About the Training
- An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence
- You will be expected to work towards the Level 2 General Welder Apprenticeship, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group
