About the Role

Working with the nursery to complete your apprenticeship you will be studying for a work-based qualification whilst you are with us and the nursery will support you with the experience required to achieve this. Highly trained professionals who play a key role in ensuring that young children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.

Daily duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • To support nursery practitioners and work as part of the nursery team
  • To provide high quality childcare and education
  • To assist in the planning and implementation of activities for the children in the area you are working in
  • To work alongside staff ensuring a safe environment for all children, staff and visitors to the setting
  • To be flexible and help where needed
  • To work to the policies and procedures of the setting, support the safeguarding procedures & maintain confidentiality at all times
Make sure you can travel to the nursery. The nursery will consider L2 Early Years Practitioner dependent on prior experience and qualifications. A full DBS will be required for any suitable candidates.

Advance to further study or to secure a full-time permanent job.

About the Training

Training will be carried out by the employer and approved training provider RNN Group. The successful candidate will work toward the Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce and have a mix of monthly face-to-face at work, weekly classes and remote tutor visit to support you through your learning journey.

Training will include a paediatric first aid qualification.
